Embroidery Hoop Crafts: Upcycle T-Shirt Art

Materials Needed:

  • Upcycled T-shirt with a design or pattern

  • Embroidery hoop (size to fit your artwork)

  • Fabric glue

  • Scissors

  • Lace trim (optional)

  • Push pin for hanging

Step-by-Step Instructions:

1. Prepare Your Artwork
Choose a visually appealing section of your upcycled T-shirt. Place the inner hoop beneath the fabric, centering the design.

2. Secure the Fabric in the Hoop
Slide the outer hoop over the fabric and inner hoop, gently stretching the fabric evenly. Tighten the hoop to secure it in place.

3. Trim the Excess Fabric
Leave about a half-inch border around the hoop. Apply fabric glue along the back edge of the hoop and fold the fabric over, pressing it down to secure.

4. Add Decorative Trim
For a finished look, attach lace trim using fabric glue, starting at the top near the hoop’s clamp. Hold in place for a few seconds to set.

5. Final Embellishments
